Social Media Marketing is an interactive ERDF funded workshop designed to help SMEs gain a greater understanding of how social media can be used to benefit their business  • Understand the foundations, as well as wider scope of social media   • Understand the basics of Twitter and Facebook and how to use social media to grow your business   • Be able to use the advanced features of the most popular social networks   • Understand how having a Social media strategy is key to a successful Social Media Marketing campaign.  

If you are a Start-Up or SME based within the following areas: Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham and Solihull or The Marches, and would like to know more about social media marketing and how they can enhance your business - Coventry University Enterprises Business Solutions are offering you the chance to attend a Fully Funded day workshop.  

Please note that the event is ERDF funded and there are requirements for attendees as follows:

  • They need to be either SMEs ( less than 250 employees and annual turnover not exceeding 50 million euros), or sole traders.
  • They also need to be in one of the LEP areas that we cover: Black Country, Coventry and Warwickshire, Birmingham and Solihull or the Marches.

The event is a full day workshop and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

•       8:30 – 9:00am - Arrival

•       9:00 – 9:30am - Project paperwork 

•       9:30am - Start

•       MASTERING SOCIAL MEDIA PART 1

•       10:45 – 11:00am - Coffee break 

•       SOCIAL MEDIA INTRODUCTIONS

•       12.30 – 1:30pm - Lunch

•       MASTERING SOCIAL MEDIA PART 2

•       2:45 – 3:00pm - Coffee break 

•       MANAGING YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA USING ‘TWEETDECK’ (Demonstration)

•       PROJECT PAPERWORK COMPLETION

•       4:30pm - Finish
