Information on Intellectual Property and signposting to sources of assistance with development of new products. The University of Wolverhampton offers a comprehensive range of mechanical engineering and design services that can support SMEs within the Black Country that are undertaking new product development. This practical session will provide businesses with information on Intellectual Property and signpost attendees to sources of assistance with the development of new products.
Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to view the FabLab facilities based in the Science Centre at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park. Here they can see first-hand how the extensive range of equipment, including 3D printing, laser scanners, CNC milling and lathes.
In addition, information regarding funding schemes available through the University to assist in new product development will be provided.
