A strategic approach for developing export opportunities for SMEs. Aligning with the University of Wolverhampton’s partnerships in Latin America. The session will benefit the local SME community by raising the awareness of international marketing effectiveness. It will examine the pitfalls and key aspects of developing export strategies. The session will link into the University’s Link You programme which focuses on collaborations in Latin America. Economic issues and factors associated with the region will be highlighted. Furthermore, it will aim to develop employability opportunities through the University’s Challenge Academy programme.
The session will highlight the need for businesses to be innovative and creative in developing export strategies. The mantra is “Do it Better, Do it Differently”. This will be key to success in a post-Brexit environment.
At the end of the session, participants will be more aware of the processes involved in screening market opportunities and entering new markets. They will be introduced to a range of support that is available from the University, and other providers. Participants will be made aware of the University’s involvement and partnerships in Latin America, including Peru, Argentina and Columbia.
