SME opportunities to help develop and implement a new green policy at Wolverhampton Racecourse. This event is aimed at SMEs that may have a technology or service which can help to support specific environmental issues Wolverhampton Racecourse currently face, or are interested in possible waste products for their own business. We are looking for SMEs to present their ideas to Wolverhampton Racecourse on how to solve these common environmental issues across their business. We are looking primarily for waste management companies or those developing environmental technologies as alternatives for the disposal and or recycling of plastic and paper cups, paper napkins, food waste and horse manure.
We would also like to welcome other stakeholders and larger companies that might be able to utilise the ideas that the SMEs present and use it in their own business. These businesses could include but not be limited to stadia, hotels, corporate venues, banqueting halls and food manufacturers.
The attendees of this event will gain a better understanding of the impact of large stakeholders, such as Wolverhampton Racecourse, on our environment and what the stakeholders are doing to try and reduce their impact.
SMEs will present their ideas on how to best combat the environmental issues faced by Wolverhampton Racecourse, i.e. waste food, paper and plastic cups etc.
Attendees will have the opportunity for networking with other businesses that are attending or exhibiting and develop business partnerships and new supply chains.
The EnTRESS team will also be on hand all day to provide information about the support that the project offers to SMEs and how we can apply the solutions discussed at the event to their business or develop new strategies to improve their businesses impact on the environment.
