Learn what all the fuss is about with Agile and SCRUM.  This course is a taster session in Agile methodologies and its most popular framework – SCRUM.  Delegates can decide whether Agile is useful for them and attend a further course or receive 1 to 1 consultancy.

Agile is one of the fastest growing product development techniques in the world. It originated in the software industry but is now being used in all kinds of businesses.

One of the key roles in Agile and the Scrum framework is that of the Scrum Master. This was one of the top 10 jobs in 2018 according to linked in and demand is still increasing.

This course will give an introduction to the agile product development framework and key roles such as the Scrum Master.  This will be achieved by participative team based activities that let you experience first-hand how Scrum works.

If you are a team in charge of delivering a product or project, an individual preparing to work with or on an agile team, a Project Manager entering the Agile environment, or someone who just wants to learn what all the fuss is about with Agile and Scrum, this taster is perfect for you.  

Using worked examples and interactive agile games, you will experience how scrum works and the basic concepts. The workshop will comprise of:

• Introduction to Agile and Scrum

• When do we use Scrum?

• The Scrum Framework through group activities.

Speaker: Karl Royle, who is an Scrum Alliance Certified Advanced Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner will lead the event.
